Apple introduces AppleCare+ to 3 European countries, and ups the service fees to $79

There weren’t too many unexpected curve balls delivered at Apple’s iPhone 5s launch event today, but among the kerfuffle of gold iPhones and slow-mo cameras Apple also made some tweaks to its AppleCare+ Coverage.

As noted by TechCrunch, Apple has increased the service fees attached to AppleCare+ by $30 to $79 which covers 2 incidences of accidental damage, and the plan – which extends coverage for an additional year from the purchase date – remains at $99.

It’s also worth noting that AppleCare+ is now available in Europe for the first time, in the UK, Italy and France, and it’s also now available for iPod Classics and the iPod Touch too.
